Tech II
FLSA Status: Hourly Department: MaintenanceSUMMARY: To work
independently and cooperatively to meet and / or exceed the
expectations of the customer, company and department, through
established and maintained procedures. Maintain positive /
productive behavior, showing care for the customer and fellow
employees, without compromising company or personal
standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES:Routinely inspect
equipmentRoutinely inspect equipment to identify / report potential
equipment failure.Routinely inspect equipment to identify / report
potential equipment safety issues. (personnel and / or food
safety)Routinely inspect plant utilities to identify / report
potential equipment failures.Perform maintenance dutiesPerform
preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled and /or assigned to
process equipment.Perform repairs to maintain the operational
ability and integrity of process equipment.Maintain areas outside
of processing areas, to the level of requirements of the Master
Sanitation Plan.Perform preoperational equipment setup /
maintenance and post operational equipment teardown / maintenance
on process equipment.Operate equipmentSafely operate various
maintenance power tools and measuring instruments.Safely operate
gas cutting and welding systems.Safely operate forklifts, manual
and /or electric pallet jacks (Plant Certification)Maintain all
required maintenance & company records and documentsMaintain
updates, create and do Work Orders & Preventive Maintenance
Worksheets within the Computerized Maintenance Management
System.Maintain and understand how to use equipment manuals that
are located within the Maintenance Library.Basic Job

thorough understanding of G.M.P. s and follow
accordingly.Maintenance personnel shall have a thorough
understanding of Standard Meat Company s Maintenance Program,
Safety programs and all Company policies and follow
accordingly.Maintenance personnel shall maintain the integrity and
cleanness of personal tools and company tools.Maintenance personnel
under no circumstances shall bypass equipment safety
