Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide
specialized support at an elementary school in Irving, TX. This
contract position will cover an FMLA absence and offers an
opportunity to contribute to the development and progress of
students in a supportive educational environment. The role requires
participation in ARD meetings as needed and involves working
Tuesday through Thursday for approximately 25 hours per week,
through February 27, 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct
comprehensive speech and language evaluations for elementary
students. - Implement individualized therapy plans to address
communication disorders. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and
interdisciplinary teams to support student progress. - Participate
in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings as necessary. -
Maintain detailed and accurate records of student performance and
therapy outcomes. - Adapt therapy methods and materials based on
student needs and goals. Qualifications: - Valid Certificate of
Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA). - Experience working as an SLP in a school
setting. - Strong understanding of speech and language development
in children. - Ability to engage effectively with students,
parents, and staff. - Flexibility to work on a contracted schedule
covering an FMLA absence. Location: - Elementary school environment
