Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is
available in Irving, TX, offering a rewarding opportunity to
support student communication development in an educational
setting. This contract role is ideal for professionals passionate
about making a difference in speech and language therapy for
children. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct speech and language
assessments for students of various ages - Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs -
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to
support student progress - Document and maintain accurate records
of therapy sessions and student outcomes - Participate in team
meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals -
Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in
speech-language pathology Qualifications and Experience: - Valid
licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist -
Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred -
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively
with students and staff - Ability to develop individualized
education plans (IEPs) and work within multi-disciplinary teams -
Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and fostering
