position is going to work with the Catalog & Data Quality platform
team in USAA's Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms organization.
They will work on the infrastructure and with vendor applications
that support the Data Governance & Data Quality capabilities for

and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job
role.Ensures risks associated with business activities are
effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and
procedures for business activities.Under limited supervision,
designs scalable IT system infrastructure, implements system
changes with consistency and autonomy, and automates service
delivery and maintenance tasks; builds monitoring and tooling for
systems.Independently, resolves complex technology production
issues by troubleshooting IT systems. Identifies opportunities for
improvements and makes recommendations to management.Analyzes
complex outages and identifies opportunities for system
improvements.Understands and consistently exercises engineering
best practices, concepts, and patternsUnderstands the customer and
identifies solutions and ideas for the customer with some
assistanceEvaluates potential Technology solutions with some
oversight Mentors' junior engineers and may being mentoring peer
engineerDevelop software defined infrastructure in code in CI/CD
PipelinesMinimum requirements:Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional
years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in
lieu of a degree OR Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvenize,
VetFIT (Veterans for IT) or eFIT (Employees for IT).4 years of
infrastructure experience demonstrating depth of technical
understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s) or
applicable IT experience such as IT Management, Software
Development, Data Engineering, and Agile Product/Release
Management.2 years of experience in creating, modifying, and
maintaining infrastructure and individual system
components.Proficient level of business acumen in the areas of
business operations, risk management, industry practices and
emerging trends.Knowledge and understanding of designing scalable
IT system infrastructures, implementing system changes, or
automating service delivery and maintenance tasksWhen you apply for
this position, you will be required to answer some initial
questions. This will take approximately 5 minutes. Once you begin
the questions you will not be able to finish them at a later time
and you will not be able to change your responses.Preferred
experience:3+ years' experience with Linux (RHEL) , python , shell
scriptingWorking knowledge with RDBMS (UDB/ DB2), sql server,
windows server, enterprise scheduling toolsExperience with
automation and Orchestration of infrastructure operational
processesDemonstrated ability to assist or lead troubleshooting and
resolution of issues, such as application, data synchronization,
system integration, and performance incidents.Application knowledge
of IBM Infosphere Information Server suite products

job.Compensation:USAA has an effective method for assessing market
data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You
are paid within the salary range based on your experience and
market position. The salary range for this skill is: $88,200 -
$158,900* Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on
overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion
of the USAA Board of Directors. Geographical Differential:
Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible
employees working in locations where market pay levels are above
the national average.Shift premium: will be addressed on an
individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently
