Job Description:
RECARO Aircraft Seating is seeking a skilled and passionate
Certification Engineer II to join our dedicated team in the
Aerospace & Defense sector. This role focuses on ensuring all our
innovative aircraft seating products meet rigorous compliance and
certification standards, reflecting our commitment to passenger
comfort, weight reduction, and quality craftsmanship. As a
Certification Engineer II, you will collaborate with design and
engineering teams to guide projects through the certification
process, balancing technical requirements with creative solutions
to meet both regulatory demands and consumer needs. Develop and
implement certification plans for aircraft seating projects,
ensuring compliance with all applicable local and international
regulations. Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry
stakeholders to manage the certification process, document
submission, and negotiations. Collaborate with engineering teams to
integrate certification requirements at early stages of product
development. Conduct risk assessments and define corrective actions
to mitigate any compliance risks. Prepare and maintain detailed and
organized certification documentation and project records. Stay
updated with industry trends and changes in certification standards
to ensure ongoing compliance and competitive advantage. Strong
knowledge of certification processes specific to the aerospace &
defense industry. Proficient in regulatory standards including FAA
and EASA. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and design teams.
Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple
projects simultaneously. FAA Certification Engineer (CE) credential
preferred. PMP certification is a plus, reflecting strong project
management capabilities.
