career. --Role DescriptionWe are currently looking to add a
Director of IT. This role will have oversight of all IT activities
in the organization while ensuring the integrity of systems, data,
Cybersecurity, and company infrastructure. The IT Director will
drive the continuous improvement of IT processes and support while
moving the company's strategic initiatives forward. The IT Director
will lead a team of internal and external partners dedicated to
determining IT business requirements for systems, infrastructure,
business continuity, efficiency, upgrade requirements, and
eliminating security risks. The IT Director will ensure projects
are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT
Director will be responsible for maintaining exceptional working
relationships across the organization and with all its
partners.--Essential Duties & Responsibilities ----------------
Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical leadership to
maintain the continuity of IT services, employing effective project
management practices to drive successful outcomes.----------------
Infrastructure Management: Oversee the technological infrastructure
of the organization, ensuring optimal performance, security, and
reliability of networks and computer systems.----------------
Operational Excellence: Implement best practices to ensure a
service-oriented approach to IT operations, designing, developing,
and implementing policies, procedures, and standards for
IT.---------------- Technology Innovation: Monitor industry
advancements to identify opportunities for the company to leverage
technology as a competitive advantage, driving innovation and
efficiency.---------------- Security and Compliance: Ensure the
security of data, network access, and backup systems, preserving
assets and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and
standards.---------------- Project Management: Direct and organize
IT-related projects, forecasting costs, equipment, and personnel
needs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within
budget.---------------- Team Development: Define roles and
responsibilities within the IT team, recruit, train, and coach team
members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high
performance.---------------- Strategic Planning: Develop and
maintain long and short-range plans for IT development, ensuring
they support strategic initiatives and organizational growth
objectives.---------------- Vendor Management: Approve purchases of
IT equipment and software, establish partnerships with IT
providers, and maintain relationships with contractors and
equipment suppliers.---------------- Problem Solving and
Compliance: Take initiative to solve challenges and seek solutions
to recurring problems, ensuring compliance with federal and/or
state laws and regulations.---------------- Budget Management:
Manage the annual IT budget, analyzing costs, value, and risks to
advise management and ensure cost-effectiveness.----------------
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business clients
and IT providers to drive successful project outcomes, fostering
strong relationships and effective communication.----------------
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT,
maintaining a high level of technical competence and actively
seeking opportunities for professional growth.----------------
Travel and Flexibility: Travel to other offices as necessary to
ensure IT cohesiveness and support organizational objectives. Be
adaptable and assist with other projects or tasks as
assigned.--Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and
AbilitiesRequired:--------------------- Bachelor's degree in
business administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, or
any related field from an accredited institution
required.---------------------
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT management with a record
of excellence--------------------- Experience with cloud hosted
environment (Azure).--------------------- Experience working
Microsoft 365 ecosystem--------------------- Experience with Active
Directory both on-perm and Cloud--------------------- Overall
Cybersecurity experience is a must--Preferred:
--------------------- Experience working with D365
ERP--------------------- Experience building a Disaster Recovery
Strategy --------------------- Effectively communicates both orally
and in writing to internal and external
parties.--------------------- Proficient in team building,
motivation, time management, organization, and problem-solving
skills--------------------- Solid understanding of data analysis,
budgeting, and business operations--------------------- Superior
analytical and problem-solving capabilities---------------------
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain strict
deadlines--------------------- Project Management Professional
(PMP) certification desirable.--------------------- Information
Technology Information Library (ITIL) Foundation certification
desirable.--------------------- Experience with Operational
Technology desirable--------------------- Experience in the food
manufacturing industry highly preferred--Travel required:10-25
