  Patient Population: 22 weeks GA - Term
  Patient Ratios:---1:1-4
  Number of Beds: 83, 8 bed Tiniest Texans unit, average daily census 50
  Unit selling points: State Designated Level IV NICU Care. 600+ Annual NICU admissions. 24/7 Neonatologist and NNP in-house coverage. Nurses are encouraged to set and reach their goals. Training and advancement opportunities. Neonatal transport team. Neonatal Internship. Transition to practice residency. Support to achieve specialty certification.

  • Full-time -Seasonal weekly requirements are -three 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st -week of orientation)

    • $3,000 sign on bonus ( - paid @ 4 weeks, - paid upon completion)
      
    • $1,500 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time
      
      
      
    • Part-time -Seasonal weekly requirements are -two 12-hour shifts for the 13-week contract (excludes 1st -week of orientation)

      • $2,100 sign on bonus ( - paid @ 4 weeks, - paid upon completion)
        
      • $1,000 completion bonus for meeting minimum productive time
        
        
        
      • Weekend requirements are the same as regular PT/FT- Rotating weekends
        
      • The first week is Monday- Friday orientation
        
      • Although this is a short term (13 week) assignment, you would be a Baylor employee (not contractual, agency, etc.). The hope -is that once the assignment is concluded, you will convert to a regular FT, PT, or PRN role.
        Registered Nurse Requirements -
        
        • 
          
        • At least -two years -of RN experience in the NICU, preferably at a level III or higher
          
        • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program -
          
        • License/Certification - -
          
          o - - - - - - - RN- Registered Nurse -
          o - - - - - - - BLS- Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) -
          o - - - - - - - NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (required within 30 days of hire)
