self-disciplined, passionate team player who thrives in a detail
oriented, dynamic environment to join the CK Family.The Therapist
provides individual or family counseling, psycho-education,
clinical assessments, and individual and/or group rehabilitative
mental health services. These include cognitive behavioral therapy,
trauma informed therapy, skills training and development, routine
case management as appropriate, medication training and support,
and parent training to clients of the agency according to state
specified standards and requirements. Clinical consultations and
education are provided as needed or requested. It is the
responsibility of this professional to provide clinically
appropriate services a minimum of one time per week to all clients
assigned for services.General ResponsibilitiesProvide Trauma
education, training, and equipping for clients, staff, and
familiesProvide clinical support to CK Family Services departments
and familiesCollaborate with CK Family Services various departments
regarding therapeutic best practices, clinical interventions, and
offer therapeutic insightTherapeutic tools review with
recommendations for implementationEngage in mental health awareness
protocols agency wide per requests from executive
leadershipRepresent CK Family Services at community meetings as
neededDevelops a treatment plan and update with specific goals
delineating clinical intervention unique to thePatientApplies
appropriate theory that is scientifically sound as a basis for
decisions regarding clinical practiceCollects and documents
clinical data that is comprehensive, accurate and systematicExpand
the clinical product of CK Family TherapyProvide support to
clinicians as needed, including but not limited to: modeling
appropriate techniques, brainstorming alternative strategies,
accessing needed resources, developing and implementing action
plans, and assessing understanding and implementation of modeled
services.Effectively administer Child and Adolescent Needs and
Strengths assessments (CANS or CANS 2.0) or Adult Needs and
Strengths Assessments (ANSA)Approve as needed CANS or ANSA in CMBHS
when notified by assigned clinicians to ensure timely submission as
backupComplete Clinical Assessments to provide a clinical diagnosis
as needed.Report critical incidents with Behavioral Health Services
Leadership immediately. Develop action plans as needed.Participate
in Child and Family Team meetings as appropriate.Participate in
clinical meetings and agency administrative meetings as
required.Provide training as required.Complete documentation timely
and accurately.Open and process mail / e-mail daily in a timely
manner.Answer phone, collect messages and respond to requests
timely and accurately.Maintain confidentiality as required by
federal and state laws and regulations, as well as maintain
compliance with all CKBH policies, procedures, and state and
federal laws.Perform all other duties and tasks as requested or
assigned.QualificationsRequires Masters degree in Psychology,
Social Work, Counseling or related fieldTexas Licensure for LPC,
LCSW, LMFT, Ph.D., Psy.D required.Experience in working with
children with severe emotional disturbances, and complex diagnosisA
working knowledge of delivery of therapeutic services based on
curriculum.Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.Proficient
in basic computer skills that include but are not limited to data
entry, MS Office, jobsite portals and company software.Must have
reliable transportation and valid drivers license.Excellent
interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to effectively
communicate with a variety of peopleStrong cognitive,
decision-making and problem-solving skills and a willingness to
take on new projects with a can do attitudeStrong desire to work as
a team with a results-driven approach.Demonstrated ability to act
with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Ability work
effectively under stress and remain flexible in changing
situations.Ability to participate in training and facilitate
training as required.Perform the physical demands of the position
Ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20
pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force
continuously to move objects and/or people;Ability to step
backwards, grasp, bend at the waist and knees, lower 30-50 pounds
to the ground, be able to get up and down from the floor without
assistance, exhibit full range of motion in both arms and legs, and
be able to do a deep, reverse lunge (SAMA Satori Alternatives to
Managing Aggression).Ability to walk frequently; stand or sit for
prolonged periods of time; squat occasionally, climb stairs
infrequently, and kneel and twist as needed.Sufficient good health
to properly fulfill all role responsibilities. Employees shall not
