We are looking to fill a Nocturnist position, which involves working exclusively during overnight hours. Candidates should be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the skills to provide outstanding patient care during these hours. People-Centric Approach in Dallas Collaboration within the Local Team: We are in search of nocturnist physicians to join our diverse team of 34 physicians and two advanced practice providers at a local hospital. Our team works together, maintains a healthy work-life balance, and strives to separate rounding responsibilities from admissions. We have cultivated strong relationships with specialists, and while we pride ourselves on being a community hospital, we are also equipped to handle Level 1 trauma, acute strokes, and complex cardiac cases. Qualifications: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board-certified or eligible in internal or family medicine; family medicine trained candidates should have at least 2 years of experience. Possession of an active medical license or eligibility to obtain one in Texas. Authorized to work in the United States. Practice at the Heart of the Community Scheduling: We are looking to hire two additional nocturnists Night shift 1: 7 pm - 5 am Hold ER pager from 9 pm - 2 am Cap of 10 admissions Night shift 2: 10 pm - 8 am Hold ER pager from 2 am - 7 am Cap of 10 admissions Key Responsibilities: No procedural skills are required; our physicians are not expected to manage codes. Ability to navigate complex medical and social situations with a patient-centered and compassionate approach. In the admitting role, you will have an advanced practice provider covering cross-coverage calls.
