Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Staff Position: - CT Tech Location: -Plano, 75024 Shift: FT Days, 8 hr shifts Shift: 8 HR Days-7AM Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM Shift End Time: 03:00 PM Scheduled Hours: 50 Job Summary The CT Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols. Qualifications /t - Grad of an Accredited Program /t - Less than 1 Year of Experience Certification/License/Registration /t - ARRT-CT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board in CT. /t - Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS required within 30 days or hire/transfer. /t - Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT). /t - ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N), ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R), Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT): Must also be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or in Nuclear Medicine (N) or by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT).
