working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Dallas, Texas, 75237! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU
experience License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications:
TNCC, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous charge experience,
patient ratio experience, charting system experience with Epic.
Description: Provide care to adult critical patients aged 18 years
and over with medical/surgical, neurological, and cardiac
diagnoses. Manage patients requiring a higher level of specialized
care. All ICU beds are equipped with bedside and remote telemetry
capabilities. Administer cardiac drips, intensive insulin drips,
heparin drips, and continuous sedation and analgesia drips. Conduct
intravenous therapy using peripheral and central venous catheters.
Support nutritional needs, including TPN and tube feedings. Perform
Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and pronation of
patients with acute respiratory complications. Offer intra-aortic
balloon pump therapy and EKOS therapy for DVT and PE complications.
Implement hypothermia therapy and mass transfusion therapy. Conduct
wound care for patients with surgical wounds and drains.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams,
physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Utilize special equipment such as CRRT machines, and rapid
infusers. Follow infection prevention protocols and manage surgical
wounds. Work within established patient ratios and provide care
during weekends as required. Participate in a supportive
environment that includes rapid response teams and pharmacy
