Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in providing diversified home
healthcare services, seeks a compassionate and dedicated Licensed
Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team for night shifts. This
position focuses on delivering high-quality care to patients within
the comfort and safety of their own homes, following personalized
care plans designed to meet each patient's unique medical needs.
The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to nurturing,
advocating, and providing superior patient care, ensuring the
continuous comfort and health of patients throughout the night.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare
providers. Monitor patient health status and report significant
changes to the supervising RN or physician. Coordinate with
healthcare professionals to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate and support patients and their families regarding medical
conditions and appropriate home care strategies. Ensure the dignity
and respect of all patients while providing empathetic care.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance
with HIPAA standards. Proficient in a range of clinical practices
and procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting
and transferring patients. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Licensed Vocational Nurse
(LVN) license in the state of practice. Valid CPR
certification.
