qualified Psych RN in Tyler, Texas, 75708! Job Title: Behavioral
Health Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:

12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required. License: Active
Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS, SAMA
required. Must-Have: - Travel experience required. - Epic charting
experience required. Description: We are seeking a Behavioral
Health Registered Nurse with experience in geriatrics. The position
involves providing care to adults and geriatric patients. This role
will focus on various behavioral health diagnoses. Patients may
present with major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, and
bipolar disorder. Registered Nurses will also manage cases
involving schizophrenia and post-traumatic stress disorder.
Additional responsibilities include handling personality disorders
and substance use disorders. The nurse will be expected to maintain
patient care ratios of 1:5. Floating to other units may be
required. Candidates should possess skills in medication
administration and psychoeducation. Experience with seclusion
protocols and blood glucose monitoring is preferred.
Interdisciplinary support services will be available within the
unit. Staff members will collaborate with various departments,
including physical therapy and social services. The ideal candidate
will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork abilities. This
role includes weekend coverage as part of the schedule. We
