Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home-based care, is looking for a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our dedicated team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work within the homes of our patients to deliver personalized, low acuity care during night shifts. Our ideal candidate will bring a passion for patient care and a commitment to delivering the highest quality service to individuals in their most comfortable environment—their home. Provide one-on-one nursing care to patients in a home setting during assigned night shifts. Perform routine nursing tasks like checking vital signs, administering medication, and providing wound care. Work with patient families to explain treatments, document care delivered, and update care plans. Monitor patient health status and report any significant changes to the attending physician. Ensure that all therapies and treatments are administered safely and effectively while maintaining patient comfort and dignity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently Competency in administering medications and providing various forms of treatment Knowledge of basic healthcare laws and regulations Ability to handle medical emergencies appropriately Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LVN License in the state of employment CPR Certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
