Physical Therapist Location: Tyler, TX Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,244 to $2,312 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description & Requirements Physical Therapist - Acute - (PT - Acute) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $2244.00 - $2312.00 SHIFT: DAYS 8A-5P *Close early Fri, extra hour can be made up during M-Th* Type of patients are mainly ortho and some neuro Patient ratio - 1:1 (one patient every 45 mins) Summary: The Physical Therapist has the responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing care for the patients assigned physical therapy. The Physical Therapist is responsible for adhering to all standards of Physical Therapy Practice Act as they apply to providing technical therapy care, supplies, equipment and interventions to a designated patient population. Responsibilities: Gathers pertinent data from chart and other care givers; discusses with physician as necessary Independently assesses all patient types as assigned Demonstrates ability to recognize additional needs during evaluation; exercises good judgment in decision making when requesting, scheduling and/or performing additional testing Interprets results and formulates relevant, measurable, realistic and attainable goals Reassesses patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy, or when need arises Identifies appropriate equipment, discusses with patient and family and makes Requirements: Doctorate Prof preferred Bachelor's degree required LPT License in state of TX required BLS required (AHA only) Work Schedule: 5 Days - 8 Hours Work Type: Full Time General Comments This is an OUTPATIENT position SHIFT: DAYS 8A-5P *Close early Fri, extra hour can be made up during M-Th* Type of patients are mainly ortho and some neuro Patient ratio - 1:1 (one patient every 45 mins) Required Qualifications Physical Therapist, Acute Experience: 1 year Licenses: PT(Compact Accepted)(Copy needed) Certifications: BLS-AHA(Copy needed) SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 90 days of gap in last 1 year References: 2 References in entire work history Facility Location A city of about 100,000 residents located 100 miles southeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, Tyler, Texas is the self-called "Rose Capital of the World," where you’ll find the largest rose garden in the United States.
