The Role As a Senior Software Engineer II, you’ll lead multi-component projects, act as a technical leader on your team, and influence adjacent teams. You’ll own architecture and testing strategies, drive systemic reliability improvements, and mentor engineers beyond your immediate group. Responsibilities Lead design and implementation of multi-service features and systems. Define and enforce testing strategies across the stack. Act as incident commander for medium-severity production incidents. Author postmortems and drive systemic fixes. Serve as technical lead for projects, aligning cross-functional partners. Mentor and sponsor engineers across teams. Deliver initiatives that improve predictability, throughput, and system resilience. Role Prerequisites Expert in a primary language, competent in two or more others. Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code. Strong experience designing APIs and distributed systems. Mastery of testing best practices and quality standards. 7 years of professional software development experience. Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
