Job Description:
RECARO Aircraft Seating, a leading innovator in the aircraft
seating industry, is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics
Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you
will oversee our logistics operations, ensuring efficient and
effective distribution and storage of our intricately designed
aircraft seats. This position is pivotal in maintaining the
high-quality and timely delivery standards that RECARO is known
for, using advanced logistics strategies that align with our
commitment to passenger comfort and product excellence. Manage the
daily operations of the logistics department, including
warehousing, inventory, transportation, and delivery. Coordinate
and monitor supply chain operations ensuring they meet company
quality standards and timelines. Supervise and train logistics team
members, while fostering a collaborative environment. Utilize
logistics IT systems to optimize procedures and track inventory
levels, transportation costs, and delivery timelines. Plan and
implement logistical strategies to ensure efficient and
cost-effective distribution systems. Ensure compliance with local,
state, and federal laws and regulations. Collaborate with other
department managers to integrate logistics with business systems or
processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or
shipping. Strong proficiency in logistics software or transport
management systems (TMS) Excellent leadership, communication, and
organizational skills Proven ability to manage logistics operations
efficiently Experience in optimizing logistic networks and supply
chain processes Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to
think critically Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple
tasks simultaneously Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Certification in Supply Chain Management
Professional (CSCP) Certified in Logistics, Transportation and
Distribution (CLTD) Lean Six Sigma Certification is a plus
