We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Box Truck Driver Position Overview (THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE ROLE. FIRST 90 DAYS AS AN INDEPENDENT OPERATOR) The Class A CDL OTR Driver will be responsible for operating box trucks over long distances, typically covering 400 to 450 miles per day . This role requires punctuality, a strong commitment to safety, and a customer-friendly demeanor. The position operates Monday through Friday , with the possibility of weekend shifts based on company needs. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A box truck in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Cover a daily route of 400 to 450 Miles , efficiently delivering freight to assigned locations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Utilize a manual pallet jack for loading and unloading tasks as required. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition. Adhere to all company safety protocols and departmental policies. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, providing timely updates regarding deliveries and any potential delays. Exhibit professionalism and courtesy while interacting with customers and team members. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . Minimum of two years of experience driving Class A vehicles, particularly in OTR settings. Proven clean driving record, with no major violations or accidents. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. Strong commitment to safety, demonstrating knowledge of traffic laws and commercial driving regulations. Must be a team player, exhibiting flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
