Job Description Job Description Diversified is hiring for a Mold Technician for a production company in Waxahachie, Tx. Shift: 1st or Overnight positions. Pay: $19/hr Temp to perm Job Details: Sets up and operates injection molding machines, troubleshoots equipment issues, and performs quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications. Key responsibilities include machine and mold setup, process adjustments, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The role often requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with plastic injection molding. Responsibilities Machine and mold setup: Install molds and auxiliary equipment into injection molding machines and set machine parameters. Production monitoring: Start up machines, monitor the production process, and perform minor adjustments to ensure consistent quality and production targets are met. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve problems with equipment or tooling during production runs. Quality control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on machines and tools and maintain a clean and safe work area. Required skills and qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with plastic injection molding, with two or more years often preferred. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail. Ability to lift heavy objects (often up to 50-60 lbs) and perform physical tasks like bending and stooping.
