Job DescriptionJob Summary:The duties and responsibilities of the Universal Teammate include providing assistance with various functions as assigned by Supervisor. Job Qualifications:Education: High School diploma preferred Skills: Must be able to read, write, follow directions, communicate clearly, have basic computer skills, and perform basic math functionsTransportation: Ability to ensure timely arrival and stable transportation Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Environmental and Working Conditions:The Universal Teammate works in various environments but must also be able to move throughout the buildings and grounds as needed throughout the day. It is possible that the work may include limited exposure to residents and/or patients with AIDS, HIV, and hepatitis B viruses involving Risk Classification Categories 1, 2, and 3**. Environmental conditions will fluctuate. To be qualified for the position, applicants and teammates will have the ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to themselves or others. ** Universal Precautions Risk Classification Categories **

  • Tasks may involve exposure to blood or body fluids.
  • Tasks do not involve contact with blood or body fluids but could result in performing a Category 1 task.
  • Tasks do not involve any risk of exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical and Mental Effort:The Universal Teammate works in various environments but must also be able to move throughout the buildings and grounds as needed throughout the day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines. Essential Functions Receptionist: Promptly answers all incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette; must sound professional, credible, pleasant and sincere.Directs visitors to their proper destinations in accordance with CCC&S practices and management direction.Provides general information regarding CCC&S functions and responds to routine inquiries from customers and the public.Refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information to appropriate staff.Ensures that all visitors to the building sign in and sign out.Monitors gates to parking lots and logs all individuals coming into gated areas.Responsible for contacting emergency response in the event of an emergency.Participates in ongoing training and in-services for improving knowledge and updating skills.Performs other assigned tasks as requested and in accordance with policies and procedures.Establish and encourage an atmosphere of optimism, warmth, and interest in residents' activity preferences and needs.Promoting CARING is our Calling
