Current Need McKessons ERP Platform Services covers all aspects of SAP and JDE platform and application version support for usage by McKesson BUs and end users. Services that enable these capabilities are constantly being developed and evolved under a general Scrum framework. However, instead of focusing solely on ERP development disciplines, McKessons ERP Platform Services team drives all aspects of service evolution, including infrastructure and outside service (partner) utilization. The Scrum Master is responsible for organizing, facilitating, and supporting Scrum teams in their weekly, monthly, and quarterly team and train ceremonies within the Scrum/Hybrid construct, helping to remove team blockers and impediments, and interfacing with the Release Train Engineer to elevate unresolved blockers and share progress and best-practices across teams and coordinate inter-team dependencies. This role requires the ability to properly coach teams and team members in the application of Scrum concepts, developing space where team members can collaborate, share, and get the support they require to achieve team and overall program objectives. Position Description Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

  • Scheduling, facilitating, and documenting all team meetings including the Iteration/Sprint Planning, stands-ups, Backlog refinement meetings with the Delivery Lead, Team demos, & Team retrospectives.
  • Preparing for and participating in train level quarterly pre PI-Planning and PI-Planning session.
  • Ensuring that the team is protected from sideways work that has not been properly vetted and prioritized.
  • Ensuring the team member capacity is appropriately forecasted to help ensure teams dont overcommit to PI Objectives.
  • Ensuring that team members stay focused on Features, User-Stories, and tasks that directly drive towards business value creation.
  • Working with Delivery Lead and Lead Architects to ensure that Features and User-Stories are properly written sized, sequenced, and have clear acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that when task & User-Story inter-dependencies are identified, they are documented and communicated across the impacted teams and train leadership.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Delivery Leads to share progress, blockers, and manage to inter-team dependencies.
  • Work with Agile tools/software as defined by the organization. Assist with data entry, data quality, and production of team and train level reports.
  • Contribute to streamlining of development and delivery processes, apply the most effective best practices, foster meaningful collaboration, increase software delivery velocity, quality, predictability and value, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • As part of a hybrid delivery model, provide project management leadership as needed with accountability for planning to delivery, schedule, financials, while maintaining project scope. Minimum Requirements
    • Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience Critical Skills
      • 5+ years IT systems and/or application development experience
      • 3+ years experience in ERP technology domain
      • 5+ years experience in IT as a business analyst, solution architect, project manager, or product/service owner.
      • Demonstrated (strong) knowledge and experience in working within a Scrum/Hybrid framework. Additional Knowledge & Skills
        • Familiarity with JIRA, Planview and Confluence is a major plus
        • Experience with management of project financials.
        • Exposure to multiple, diverse enterprise technologies, processes, and environments.
        • Knowledge and modernization of ERP based systems is a plus
        • Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
        • Excellent analytical and technical skills.
        • Ability to create and apply technical standards to business problems
        • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
        • Ability to motivate and influence leaders and teams without direct authority
        • Strong Risk, Issue, and Change Management skills
        • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
        • Financial acumen and ability to make data driven decisions
          Education

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
