Part-Time Teller Floater - Mesquite Branch
Position Purpose and Objectives
Currently, we are seeking a Part-Time Teller who is responsible for
accurately and efficiently processing teller transactions. A Teller
must be able to identify member financial need(s) and recommend an
appropriate credit union product/service solution to fit that
need.
Major Duties and Essential Functions
Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this
position:
Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree
(GED)
Experience: Minimum 6 months or more of similar or related
experience.

skills and operations.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,

circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic
algebra and geometry.

understand written and oral language.

Ability to use passive vocabulary of 7,000-9,000 words; read at a
fast-paced rate; and define unfamiliar words in dictionaries for
meaning, spelling, and pronunciation. Ability to write moderate to
complex documents. Ability to communicate in complex sentences,
using normal word order with present and past tenses and strong
vocabulary. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common
scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal
documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication
that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively
present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards
of directors.
