Location:Alliance Multi-specialty Clinic and Urgent Care CenterDepartment:Child LifeShift:Second Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:The Child Life Specialist will serve patients at our Urgent Care Center (UCC) where they will provide essential life experiences, family support & education to patients and families. Child Life specialists offer assistance with coping, developmentally appropriate explanations of diagnoses and treatments, emotional support, and opportunities for distraction and play making their time at the urgent care center feel more normal. Child life Specialists work with the medical team to ensure each child's needs are addressed in the most nurturing atmosphere possible.
