The Corsicana Manufacturing Plant is the proud recipient of the 2019 Environmental Impact award! The plant was built in 1987 and manufactures cups, lids, to-go containers and breakfast trays used in households and restaurants all over the US. Responsibilities
This manufacturing production supervisor position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
Job Duties of manufacturing supervisor:

• 
  
• Production Supervisor will manage, direct and coordinate all activities related to a manufacturing production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality
  
• Production Shift Supervisor typically supervises 25-50 employees
  
• Night shift production supervisor will coordinate with Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
  
• Manufacturing supervisor will carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring & training employees
  
• Planning, assigning & directing work
  
• Appraising performance
  
• Rewarding & disciplining employees
  
• Addressing complaints & resolving problems
  
• Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
  
• Support & improve upon Quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
  
• Ensures safety programs are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly and revised as necessary
  
  Qualifications
  Job Qualifications of Manufacturing Production Supervisor
  
  • 
    
  • BA/BS degree preferred not required
    
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience
    
  • Supervisory experience preferred
    
  • Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills
    
  • Ability to work well in group situations
    
  • Ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner
    
  • Good computer skills
    
  • SAP experience preferred
    
    Preferred Skills (not required)
    
    • 
      
    • Manufacturing experience specific to high-volume continuous process
      
    • Plastics manufacturing experience in general
      
    • Plastic Extrusion, Injection Molding, Plastic Thermoforming, blow molding experience
      
    • Plastic packaging, flexible packaging, and/or paper packaging manufacturing -
